The Tai Chi Youth Group organized a fundraiser on June 23rd, 2023, featuring a panel discussion centered around sports and college applications. With panelists Alan Huang, Claire Ma, and Trinity Liang, who shared their personal journeys in Wushu training and how it influenced their college experiences. The event also welcomed a special guest, Jacob Wang, the first Asian American basketball player to secure the AAU championship. Attended by over 100 individuals, the panel discussion shed light on the role of sports in the college application process. An essential objective of the event was to raise funds for the upcoming 16th World Wushu Championship, emphasizing the group's commitment to supporting their athletic aspirations.
